Symphonies no. 6 & 5

"The players ... evidently delight in their mutual company, listening intently to one another and relishing their lively, witty interplay. Textures are transparent, with an ideal balance between the superlative Bremen woodwind and the lithe, period influenced strings. Every fleck of wind colour in the tuttis is clearly audible ... you're more than usually aware of Schubert's part-writing in the Fifth's Andante".
