"A processional of Stravinsky works - each so different from its neighbours, all bearing the composer's physiognomy in just about every bar - is rewarding for listeners and players alike ... The players, of course, need character in the first place ... Eight punctuating songs in sets of three and two, all of them conjuring a poetic world in never much more than a minute each, have the bonus of young soprano Alexandra Heath, bright and slightly fragile ...
