"Das Ensemble Epoca Barocca musiziert die Sonaten artikulatorisch stilsicher und verziert bei Sätzen im 'goût français" mit wesentlichen Manieren, im Tempo variabel gestalteten Trillern und gelegentlichen Coulés ... Fazit: Tonschönes barockes Musizieren im klassischen Stil der Herren Leonhardt, Brüggen, Bylsma ohne aufgesetzte Bar-Rock Effekte. Wundervolles Weihnachtsgeschenk für junge, etwas fortgeschrittene Blockflötenspieler. Klare Empfehlung!".

"Loeillet's musical education in the southern Netherlands may have been largely French in scope, but in England he turned to the Italian style in his compositions. The two collections of trio sonatas, from which Epoca Barocca has selected six, bear witness to that ... Epoca Barocca likes to perform and record lesser-known repertoire, and they deserve praise for that ... The performances on this disc are very solid and enjoyable. Sometimes I would have liked a faster tempo and, especially in the slow movements, more dynamic differentation, for instance on long notes. However, if you want to add something unfamiliar to your collection, this is a disc to consider. I am sure you will enjoy what is on offer here".

"Von seinen [Loeillet] 18 gedruckten Triosonaten sind auf der vorliegenden CD die sechs Stücke für Oboe und Block- bzw. Traversflöte versammelt. Sie überzeugen mit eingängigen Motiven und geschmeidiger Melodik ... und finden in Epoca Barocca Interpreten, die einen ausgeprägten Sinn für den freundlichen, verbindlichen Ton dieser Musik haben. Das spieltechnische Niveau ist hier deutlich höher als in früheren Aufnahmen dieses Ensembles".
