""Party Time! It's Saturday night everybody," Tommy Castro says, introducing his latest live album, Killin' It Live. It captures Castro at his ebullient best, rocking like Delbert McClinton in a sweaty Texas honky-tonk, his gritty, soulful vocals backed by fiery, blooze-grounded, rocked-out guitar licks ... it's always party time with Castro, and your invitation to this one allows you to share in the raucous roadhouse throw-down usually reserved for juke joint habitués".

"The power and passion that Castro conveys in his live performance is captured here. If you miss his show this is the next best thing to being there. You can enjoy this recording, again and again, whenever you please. Thank you, Mr. Tommy Castro".

"Fleshed out with covers of Buddy Miles' "Them Changes" and Sleepy John Estes' "Leaving Trunk," Castro's second concert release features top-tier originals from across his 15 albums and 30-plus years in music. Castro is in sterling form as a vocalist and guitarist at shows in four states this past year".
